How We Started
CoverShots™ was invented after the initial designer developed a Type II skin cancer on his forearm. Enlisting the aid of Mississippi State University’s School of Architect and Engineering as well as golf business advice from the school’s nationally renowned School of Professional Golf Management to help develop the idea. The first CoverShots™ was formally unveiled to the golf world at the 1997 PGA Merchandise Show, leading to the comment: “CoverShots will forever change the way golf is practiced” – Pete Dye.
CoverShots™ has become a must-have for all private and public golf courses, commercial driving ranges, golf schools, and collegiate programs in any geographic location. CoverShots™ is honored to be a preferred supplier to many of the nation’s leading golf groups including PGA Golf Properties, Golf Range Association of America, and Nicklaus Academies.
CoverShots™ is owned and operated by CoverShots Mobile Canopies International, LLC and maintains a steadfast commitment to Product Performance and Customer Support. Staying true to our mission of providing safety, comfort, and protection from harmful UV Rays and inclement weather.
